call the City of Chicago Domestic Violence Help Line at (877) 863-6338, free of charge, 24 hours a day.
If you need a referral to an attorney, please contact the Chicago
Bar Association Referral Service at (312) 554-2002, Monday - Friday from 9am-4:30pm, with lunch from noon-1pm. You can also
visit them online at http://www.chicagobar.org/. You can also refer to them for a listing of free and low cost attorneys.
